BTS member Suga has been named as the ambassador of the National Basketball Association (NBA), with the announcement made by the NBA and BIGHIT MUSIC on April 6.
Suga will engage with NBA fans worldwide, participate in various league initiatives, and attend NBA games and events in the US and Asia
The NBA will also have a presence throughout Suga's first solo world tour, which he will embark on after the release of his debut solo album, D-Day.
Suga, who is an avid NBA fan, has previously featured basketball in BTS projects, including the music video for the group's global hit "Dynamite."
The announcement comes ahead of the release of Suga's solo album on April 21,
Suga will start his world tour on April 26, 2023.
